freebaser
Purified cocaine smoker
A freebaser is someone who smokes freebase cocaine—a purified form of the drug that has been chemically converted for inhalation.
The term gained notoriety in the 1980s when the practice became associated with serious addiction and accidents: Richard Pryor was badly burned while freebasing.
