franks
Beans' classic partner
Franks is the plural of frank, a casual term for frankfurter—a cooked sausage typically served in a bun as a hot dog: We grilled franks for the Fourth of July.
To frank something is to mark mail for free delivery, a privilege of certain officials, so franks can also refer to such markings or the act of applying them. (Capitalized Franks refers to the Germanic people.)
