foreparts

Anterior body regions

The foreparts are the front sections of something, especially an animal's body.

The term appears in descriptions of horses, dogs, and other quadrupeds where the chest, shoulders, and front legs form a distinct region: The stallion's foreparts were powerfully muscled.

Less commonly, foreparts refers to the front portion of a ship or vehicle.
