flat earther
Sphere skeptic type
A flat earther is someone who believes the Earth is flat rather than spherical, rejecting centuries of scientific evidence.
The term usually carries dismissive connotations, implying rejection of obvious facts: Don't bother arguing with him—he's basically a flat earther.
By extension, flat earther describes anyone who denies well-established reality: Climate flat earthers ignore the data.
