feng-shui
Chinese arrangement philosophy
Feng shui is the Chinese practice of arranging spaces to optimize the flow of energy, or *chi*.
Practitioners position furniture, doors, and objects to promote harmony, health, and good fortune.
The term translates roughly as "wind-water." In Western usage, feng shui often appears loosely to describe any intentional spatial arrangement: I need to feng shui my office.
