fatphobic
Biased against heaviness
Fatphobic describes prejudice, discrimination, or hostility directed at fat or overweight people.
The term emerged from body-positive and fat acceptance movements to name bias that ranges from individual attitudes to institutional practices: fatphobic comments about her weight, fatphobic hiring practices.
Someone who holds such views is a fatphobe.
Like other -phobic formations (homophobic, transphobic), it frames the prejudice as irrational fear or aversion.
