exhaust port
Fume release opening
An exhaust port is an opening through which spent gases or fluids exit an engine, turbine, or other mechanical system.
In internal combustion engines, exhaust ports channel burned fuel-air mixture away from the cylinders.
The term extends to any designed outlet for waste gases or pressure release: The thermal exhaust port was the Death Star's fatal weakness.
