edtech
Digital classroom tools
Edtech is short for educational technology—digital tools, platforms, and software designed for teaching and learning.
The term encompasses everything from learning management systems to educational apps to online tutoring platforms: She left teaching to work at an edtech startup.
The word gained currency as venture capital poured into the sector, especially after the shift to remote learning.
