duplicators

Devices making copies

Duplicators are machines that make copies.

The term usually refers to older reproduction technology—mimeographs, spirit duplicators, stencil machines—that preceded modern photocopiers: The school office still had a duplicator from the 1960s.

A duplicator can also be anyone or anything that duplicates: DNA duplicators, key duplicators.
