dumping
Getting rid of
Dumping is getting rid of something, often carelessly or in large quantities: They were caught dumping waste in the river.
In commerce, dumping means selling goods in a foreign market below cost to undercut competitors—a practice often subject to trade penalties.
To dump someone is to abruptly end a romantic relationship: She dumped him right before prom.
