drivelines
Vehicle power conduits
Drivelines are the components that transmit power from a vehicle's engine to its wheels.
The system typically includes the transmission, driveshaft, differential, and axles.
In rear-wheel drive vehicles, the driveline runs the length of the car; in front-wheel drive, it's more compact.
The mechanic diagnosed a problem in the driveline.
