downloaders
Digital content retrievers
Downloaders are people or programs that download files from the internet or a network.
The term usually refers to software applications designed for retrieving content: I use a video downloader for YouTube clips.
It can also mean users who download rather than upload or share: The site had thousands of downloaders but few seeders.
