dog mushing
Canine sled sport
Dog mushing is the sport or practice of traveling over snow by sled pulled by a team of dogs, typically huskies or malamutes.
The driver, called a musher, stands on the sled runners and commands the dogs.
Mushing ranges from recreational outings to competitive racing, most famously the Iditarod across Alaska: She's been mushing for twenty years.
