A sled team is a group of dogs trained to pull a sled over snow or ice, working in coordinated formation under a musher's direction.
The term extends to the human crew supporting competitive sled dog racing: The sled team prepared for the Iditarod.
Occasionally used for any group pulling a sled, including reindeer.
