docket

Legal case list

A docket is a list or calendar of cases awaiting action in a court: The judge's docket is full through December.

More broadly, it's any agenda or schedule of items to be addressed: immigration reform is on the legislative docket.

In shipping, a docket is a label or document summarizing contents.

To docket something is to enter it on such a list or to label it.
