conference call
Multi-party phone meeting
A conference call is a telephone call connecting three or more participants simultaneously.
Before video conferencing became widespread, conference calls were the standard way for dispersed teams to meet: Let's schedule a conference call for Thursday.
The term persists even as most such calls now include video.
