invitee

Someone formally summoned

An invitee is someone who has been invited—to a party, event, or gathering.

The word is slightly formal, appearing more often in legal contexts (where it denotes someone lawfully on property by invitation) than in casual speech, where guest is more natural: The invitees were asked to RSVP by Friday.
