work-from-home

Office at residence

Work-from-home describes employment performed at one's residence rather than at an employer's premises: work-from-home jobs, a work-from-home arrangement.

The term gained currency with the rise of internet connectivity and became ubiquitous during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Often abbreviated WFH.

As a verb phrase without hyphens: I work from home three days a week.
