concatenate
Link in sequence
Concatenate means to link things together in a series or chain.
The word appears most often in computing, where it describes joining strings of text or data end to end: The function concatenates the first and last name into a single field.
Outside technical contexts, concatenate sounds formal or playful: She concatenated excuses until the story collapsed under its own weight.
