color vision
Seeing in hues
Color vision is the ability to perceive differences in light wavelength as distinct hues—to see red, blue, green, and the spectrum between them.
Most humans have trichromatic color vision, using three types of cone cells.
Color blindness refers to deficiencies in this ability, most commonly difficulty distinguishing red from green.
The test screens for normal color vision.
