chromaticity

Hue and saturation

Chromaticity is the quality of color independent of brightness—the hue and saturation without regard to how light or dark it appears.

In color science and display technology, chromaticity coordinates specify a color's position on a standardized diagram: The chromaticity of the LED shifted toward blue as it aged.

Two surfaces can have identical chromaticity but appear different under varying illumination.
