No hierarchical divisions
Classlessness is the absence of social class distinctions or hierarchy.
The term appears in two opposing contexts: describing societies that have eliminated class barriers the classlessness of the frontier, or describing behavior that transcends class expectations—either admirably democratic or, in British usage, lacking the refinement associated with any particular class.
