checkbox

Clickable option marker

A checkbox is a small square in a user interface that can be checked or unchecked, typically by clicking.

Checkboxes indicate yes/no choices or selections from a list: Check the box to agree to the terms.

Unlike radio buttons, multiple checkboxes in a group can be selected simultaneously.

On paper forms, the equivalent is a small box meant to be filled in or marked with a checkmark.
