Publication's middle pages
The center spread is the two facing pages at the middle of a magazine or newspaper, where the binding allows a single image or layout to extend uninterrupted across both pages.
Advertisers and editors prize this space for maximum visual impact: The swimsuit issue always features a model on the center spread.
Also called a centerfold, though that term now primarily evokes nude pinups.
