bubbles
Soap film spheres
Bubbles are thin spheres of liquid enclosing air or gas, as in soap bubbles or the bubbles in champagne.
The word extends to anything similarly round and hollow, or to any situation that swells impressively before bursting: the housing bubble, the tech bubble.
To bubble is to form bubbles or rise in them: Water bubbled up from the spring.
Something that bubbles over exceeds its container, literally or figuratively: She was bubbling over with enthusiasm.
