globular
Rounded like marbles
Globular means shaped like a globe or sphere—round and three-dimensional.
The term appears often in scientific contexts: globular clusters are spherical collections of stars orbiting galaxies, while globular proteins fold into compact, roughly spherical shapes.
More generally, anything ball-like or rounded can be described as globular: globular droplets of wax.
