broccoflower

Chartreuse cruciferous vegetable

Broccoflower is a hybrid vegetable crossing broccoli and cauliflower, with a pale green color and milder flavor than either parent.

The florets resemble cauliflower in shape but carry broccoli's greenish hue: The broccoflower added color to the crudité platter.

Also called green cauliflower.
