bookmarklets

Clickable JavaScript shortcuts

Bookmarklets are small programs stored as browser bookmarks.

Instead of saving a web address, a bookmarklet contains JavaScript code that runs when clicked, performing actions on the current page—highlighting text, reformatting content, or sending information to another service.

I use a bookmarklet to save articles to my reading list.
