bodyworker
Manual therapy practitioner
A bodyworker is a practitioner of hands-on physical therapy or manipulation—massage, deep tissue work, structural integration, or similar techniques aimed at relieving pain, improving posture, or promoting relaxation.
The term encompasses various specialties that don't fit neatly under "massage therapist": She sees a bodyworker for chronic back issues.
Separately, a bodyworker repairs vehicle bodies after collisions.
