bodycolor
Pigment with opacity
Bodycolor is pigment mixed with white to make it opaque rather than transparent, used especially in watercolor painting.
The technique allows artists to add highlights or cover underlying layers: She used bodycolor for the white details on the flower petals.
Also spelled body color or body colour.
The term gouache refers to the same technique.
