binge eater
Uncontrollable food consumer
A binge eater is someone who consumes large quantities of food in short periods, typically feeling unable to stop and often experiencing shame or distress afterward.
The term appears in clinical contexts like binge eating disorder and in casual self-description: I'm such a binge eater when I'm stressed.
Unlike bulimia, binge eating doesn't involve purging.
