bicuspid
Tooth with cusps
A bicuspid is a tooth with two pointed cusps, located between the canines and molars.
Also called premolars, humans have eight bicuspids—two on each side of the upper and lower jaws.
As an adjective, bicuspid describes anything with two points or flaps: the bicuspid valve of the heart.
