tricuspid
Three peaks, anatomically
Tricuspid means having three cusps or points.
In anatomy, the tricuspid valve controls blood flow between the right atrium and right ventricle of the heart: tricuspid regurgitation, tricuspid stenosis.
Tricuspid teeth have three pointed projections on the crown.
The term appears almost exclusively in medical and dental contexts.
