arsine
Semiconductor dopant gas
Arsine is a highly toxic, colorless gas with a faint garlic odor, composed of arsenic and hydrogen.
It forms during industrial processes involving arsenic-containing materials and poses severe poisoning risks through inhalation.
In chemistry, arsine also refers broadly to compounds derived from this parent molecule, analogous to how amine describes nitrogen-based compounds.
