Prejudice against Black people
Antiblackness is prejudice, hostility, or systemic discrimination directed specifically at Black people.
The term emerged from critical race scholarship to name a distinct form of racism—not just general bigotry but a particular devaluation of Black life embedded in institutions, culture, and everyday interactions: Antiblackness operates even in communities of color.
