White Witch
Jadis of Narnia
A White Witch is a practitioner of benevolent magic—someone who uses supernatural powers for healing, protection, or good fortune rather than harm.
The term distinguishes helpful witchcraft from malevolent sorcery: She consulted a white witch about her chronic illness.
In C.S.
Lewis's *The Chronicles of Narnia*, the White Witch is ironically a villain who brings eternal winter, playing against the usual connotation.
