T-intersections
Roads meeting perpendicularly
A T-intersection is where one road ends by meeting another at a roughly perpendicular angle, forming a T shape.
The driver on the terminating road must yield or stop.
T-intersections are generally safer than four-way crossings because traffic flows from fewer directions: Turn left at the T-intersection.
