T-bars
Pulls skiers uphill
T-bars are ski lifts consisting of an inverted T-shaped bar suspended from a moving cable, designed to pull two skiers uphill while they stand on their skis: We took the T-bar up to the intermediate slope.
The term also refers to T-shaped fasteners or supports in construction and hardware, or straps across the instep of certain shoes.
