Styracosaurus

Spiked-frill herbivore

Styracosaurus is a genus of horned dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 75 million years ago.

Named for the Greek word for spike, it was distinguished by a dramatic array of long spikes radiating from its neck frill, along with a single prominent horn on its snout.

Like its relative Triceratops, it was a large herbivore that walked on four legs.
