Spotsylvania
Civil War battlefield
Spotsylvania is a county in northeastern Virginia, site of two major Civil War battles in 1864.
The Battle of Spotsylvania Court House was among the war's bloodiest engagements, part of Grant's Overland Campaign against Lee.
