Ohm
Electricity law namesake
An ohm is the standard unit of electrical resistance, measuring how much a material opposes the flow of electric current.
Named after German physicist Georg Ohm, who formulated Ohm's law relating voltage, current, and resistance.
The symbol is the Greek letter omega (Ω): a 100-ohm resistor.
