MechWarrior is a pilot who operates a BattleMech—a giant bipedal combat robot in the BattleTech science fiction universe.
The term applies both to the fictional profession and to the long-running video game franchise featuring mech combat simulation: I spent hours in MechWarrior customizing my loadout.
