DLC
Post-purchase game content
DLC stands for downloadable content—additional material for a video game purchased and downloaded after the base game's release.
DLC ranges from cosmetic items like character skins to substantial expansions with new storylines and maps: The new DLC adds twenty hours of gameplay.
Some games are criticized for releasing content as paid DLC that players feel should have been included originally.
