Latin cross
Christian religious emblem
A Latin cross is the familiar Christian cross with the vertical beam longer than the horizontal one, which sits above the midpoint.
This distinguishes it from a Greek cross, where all four arms are equal length.
The Latin cross is the most common form in Western Christianity, appearing on churches, gravestones, and jewelry.
