La Paz
Bolivia's highest city
La Paz is the seat of government of Bolivia, located high in the Andes—one of the world's highest capital cities.
It functions as the administrative capital while Sucre remains the constitutional capital.
La Paz is also a state in northwestern Mexico on the Baja California peninsula, and a common place name throughout Latin America.
The Spanish means "the peace."
