Kerouac

Spontaneous prose pioneer

Kerouac refers to Jack Kerouac (1922–1969), American novelist and central figure of the Beat Generation.

His spontaneous, jazz-influenced prose style, especially in *On the Road*, defined a literary movement and inspired counterculture rebellion against postwar conformity.

The name evokes restless travel, spiritual seeking, and raw, unedited writing: very Kerouac, a Kerouac road trip.
