Jewish values
Mitzvot-based ethical framework
Jewish values are the ethical principles and moral commitments traditionally associated with Judaism and Jewish culture.
These include emphasis on education and learning, family obligation, charitable giving (tzedakah), social justice (tikkun olam), and community responsibility.
The phrase appears in both religious and secular contexts: She was raised with strong Jewish values even though her family wasn't observant.
In political discourse, different groups invoke Jewish values to support varying positions.
