racial ideology
Race-based belief system
A racial ideology is a system of beliefs about race—that races exist as meaningful biological or social categories, that they have inherent characteristics, or that they should determine social organization.
The term often describes beliefs used to justify discrimination or hierarchy: Nazi racial ideology, the racial ideology of apartheid.
