Greek deities

Pantheon of Hellas

Greek deities are the gods and goddesses of ancient Greek religion and mythology.

The major Olympians—Zeus, Hera, Athena, Apollo, and others—ruled from Mount Olympus, while lesser deities governed specific domains: rivers, forests, the underworld.

References to Greek deities pervade Western literature, art, and language: She has the wisdom of Athena, an Apollonian temperament.
