Google Street View
Panoramic road imagery
Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps that provides interactive panoramic imagery of streets and locations worldwide.
Users can virtually navigate through cities, neighborhoods, and landmarks as if standing on the street: I checked Street View before my trip to see what the hotel entrance looked like.
The imagery is captured by vehicles, backpacks, and other equipment carrying specialized cameras.
